Our Management and Governance

Lifeline Darling Downs & SWQ Ltd is a Non-Governmental organisation limited by guarantee, governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. We are committed to sustainable growth that works within the parameters of our Vision, Mission and Values. Please see our current organisational chart.

We have maintained strong, consistent growth which has accelerated particularly over the last three years. Our annual turnover exceeds $12 million per annum and we cover a large area with a population of approximately 255,000 people. Moving away slightly from UnitingCare Community and the Uniting Church, we focus on governance (see our Board Charter) and developing strategic capacity to sustain ongoing growth (please note: our revised Strategic Plan Framework will be available online soon). We have a strong executive and management team.

As we continue to ensure a strong foundation for sustainable and responsible growth, we are committed to the development and introduction of a Quality System across the company and are moving towards ISO self-accreditation Concurrently we are also developing a Framework for Sustainability Policy. We partner with the wider community, working from a strengths based approach. That is, working with people in order to empower them to make the best possible decisions in their own life, and for their own community. This is expanded more in our Social Justice Charter.

As a values-based organisation, we remain committed to ensuring people always remain its focus. We rely on financial support from local communities, corporate sponsors and the Queensland State and Federal Governments.
